【片語課！帶人去上課不一定是好事。】
台灣人很重視教育，不過，送人到學校去不一定是好事！
“I'll take you to school” 通常表示我會送你到學校去。
不過，take somebody to school 也有「比賽大獲全勝，把對手打敗得很慘」的意思。能力差那麼多，就像你在「教」對手怎麼打，也就是 take them to school 的感覺。
例如：
Germany took Brazil to school in the World Cup.
(World Cup = 世界盃)
Are you sure you want to take me on in tennis? I’m going to take you to school!
(take on = 挑戰)
這個片語不一定只用在球賽，任何的競爭都行，包括生意與學校的比賽：
In business strategy, 7-11 takes its competitors to school.
(business strategy = 商業策略, competitors = 對手)
With the iPhone, Apple really took the other computer companies to school.
In the English contest, I totally took him to school!
也有人會用 school 當動詞來表示這個意思，這個用法常是被動的：
He’s such a good chess player. I really got schooled. He humiliated me.
(chess = 西洋棋, humiliate = 侮辱)
